Boxphish has been named as one of the region’s tech stars in this year’s Tech Climbers List.
The Yorkshire Tech Climbers 2024 List, celebrating the area’s burgeoning tech sector, was revealed recently at a glittering event in Leeds city centre, with Boxphish making the final list of stand-out tech companies in the region.
The 17-strong cohort included top-performing technology-led businesses that make the county one of the UK’s most exciting tech destinations.
Judges considered nominations from businesses which demonstrate significant operations in the region, are providing a unique tech solution to an existing problem and creating disruption in their target sectors.
Ran in association with BusinessCloud, TechBlast and Active Profile, the partners for Yorkshire Tech Climbers 2024 are BDO, TD Synnex and Ward Hadaway. The ecosystem partners are Climb24, Leeds Digital, Sheffield Hallam University, West Yorkshire Combined Authority, DMC, Sheffield Technology Parks, UK Tech Week and York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority. The national partners are techUK, HubSpot, The Data City and InnovateHer.
Co-founders of Boxphish Nick Deacon-Elliott and Henry Doyle attended the exclusive event at Headrow House, which included an awards ceremony and a chance to network with the other tech companies who bagged a spot on the prestigious list.
Nick, CEO and co-founder of Boxphish said: “We’re incredibly proud to make the Tech Climbers 2024 list. Like others on the list, we’re a scaling business and this is a testament to the hard work of our team and the success we’ve achieved at Boxphish already.”
“We love being based in Yorkshire, and Leeds is an exciting business hub that’s renowned for its growing tech sector. We’re delighted to be shortlisted alongside other digital businesses on our doorstep.”
